Michael J. Fox caught up with his The American President costar Michael Douglas after 31 years. Just like that fans of The American President loved every second of it. Fox even posted a photo on Instagram. The two sat next to each other, relaxed, smiling a little. His caption was short, “Another Cali reunion. My American President??”

Back in 1995, the two worked together on what became a pretty memorable movie. Michael Douglas played Andrew Shepherd, a widowed U.S. President who slowly falls for a lobbyist named Sydney Ellen Wade, brought to life by Annette Bening.

Michael J. Fox played Lewis Rothschild, a staff member close to the president. A significant supporting role that fans still remember. The film was a commercial success and also garnered critical acclaim, with praise mainly directed towards the story, writing, and performances, among other things. It is widely considered to be one of the finest love stories of the 90s.

Meanwhile, at 64, Fox is back in action starring in Shrinking Season 3 with Harrison Ford. He came out of retirement to play Gerry, a man living with Parkinson’s disease, the same condition Fox himself was diagnosed with in 1991.
