Heist Movie Lifehack Trailer Stars Georgie Farmer, Yasmin Finney, & More

Triple Media Film and Iconic Events Releasing have shared the official trailer for Lifehack, its newest screenlife thriller starring Wednesday’s Georgie Farmer and Heartstopper’s Yasmin Finney. Following its world premiere at the 2025 SXSW Festival, the movie is now scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 15, 2026.

“The film is a high-stakes cyber-heist thriller built for the digital age. Kyle and his three friends spend their time gaming and pranking online scammers with their hacking skills. Eager for a real challenge, Kyle persuades them to target billionaire Don Heard by exploiting his daughter Lindsey’s overshared social media presence,” reads the official synopsis. “When the foursome successfully infiltrates Don’s cryptocurrency wallet, they believe they’ve pulled off the perfect crime – until Lindsey calls Kyle with an ultimatum. As the stakes escalate, what begins as a thrill-seeking stunt spirals into a dangerous game with consequences these four friends never anticipated.”

What happens in the Lifehack trailer?

The video introduces a group of young hackers who become digital Robin Hoods after stealing from people the internet loves to hate. However, their bold endeavor soon leads them to unexpectedly mess with the wrong person. Their latest cyber heist victim fights back, which forces them to confront the possibility of facing consequences in the real world.

Lifehack is directed by Irish filmmaker Ronan Corrigan, who co-wrote the screenplay with Hope Elliott Kemp. The cast also includes Roman Hayeck-Green (Sex Education), content creator James Scholz, and Jessica Reynolds (Kneecap, Outlander). The movie is produced by Timur Bekmambetov, Joann Kushner, and Sasha Kletsov, with Michael Fassbender, Daniel Emmerson, and Conor McCaughan serving as executive producers. Since its world premiere, the film has already received a perfect Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 14 reviews.
