Daisy Edgar-Jones Leads Paramount’s New Video Game Movie
Golden Globe nominee Daisy Edgar-Jones has signed on to play the leading role in Paramount Pictures‘ upcoming film adaptation of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, based on Gabrielle Zevin’s bestselling 2022 novel of the same name. The Twisters star is set to portray Sadie Green, who’s described as a brilliant game designer.
What do we know about Daisy Edgar-Jones’s new video game movie?
“It’s the story of two friends whose lives first intersect in childhood and college. The film follows them as they become creative partners in the video game business,” reads the show’s initial logline. “Set over several decades, the plot follows Sadie and her co-collaborator Sam Masur, as well as Sam’s roommate and friend Marx Watanabe, as they build a video game studio called Unfair Games.”
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow will be written and directed by Academy Award winner Siân Heder (CODA), based on drafts by Mark Bomback and Zevin. It will be produced by Temple Hill’s Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and Isaac Klausner, with Zevin set as an executive producer. The novel has already sold over four million copies worldwide, after it was officially published in 2022 in 40 foreign language territories.
This marks Edgar-Jones’ latest major film project, after starring in 2024’s disaster movie Twisters with Glen Powell. She first gained recognition through her acclaimed performance in the miniseries Normal People. She will next be seen in Focus Features’ newest film adaptation of Jane Austen’s iconic romance novel, Sense and Sensibility, which is expected to arrive in theaters on September 11, 2026.
