Bren Foster Action Movie Mexicali Gets Exciting Trailer & Release Date | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for Mexicali, the upcoming action drama from Samuel Goldwyn Films. It features Bren Foster (Days of Our Lives, The Last Ship) as an ex-special forces soldier who becomes an underground fighter for the sake of supporting his employees on the farm.

“An ex-special forces contractor who has retired to live a peaceful life as an avocado farmer in Mexico must fight again when the local gangsters try to force him and his family off their farm,” reads the movie’s official synopsis.

When is the Mexicali release date?

Mexicali will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on March 13, 2026. Besides Foster, the ensemble cast also includes Tania Raymonde, Plutarco Haza, Kris Van Damme, Louis Mandylor, Einar Haraldsson, Jessica Medina, Luis Fernandez-Gil, Edgar de Santiago, Josef Cannon, Fabrice Uzan, Roman Phillips, and more.

The movie is directed by stuntman Luke LaFontaine (Iron Man, Serenity), with Jesse V. Johnson (Debt Collectors, Chief of Station) writing the screenplay. It is executive-produced by Foster and Johnson. The creative team consists of director of photography Pascal Combes-Knoke, editor Matthew Lorentz, costume designer LaRae Wilson, and casting director Julia Verdin.

Foster is an Australian actor and martial artist best known for his memorable roles in the TNT action drama The Last Ship, which lasted for five seasons from 2014 to 2018. His notable film credits include Force of Execution, Terminus, Deep Blue Sea 3, and Life After Fighting. He will next be seen in the sports drama film Beast, which hails from actor-writer Russell Crowe.
