Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Peacock Streaming Release Date Announced for Horror Movie Sequel

A Peacock streaming release date for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 has been announced.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 was released in United States theaters this past December by Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions. Directed by Emma Tammi, the Five Nights at Freddy’s sequel sees Josh Hutcherson reprise his role as Mike Schmidt.

When will Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 be streaming on Peacock?

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 will be available to watch on the Peacock streaming service on April 3, 2026.

The synopsis for the film reads, “One year after the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a shocking new chapter of terror begins when former security guard Mike’s sister, Abby, sneaks out in search of her animatronic friends: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. As terrifying events begin to unfold, dark secrets about the true origin of Freddy’s are revealed, unleashing a long-forgotten horror hidden away for decades.

In addition to Hutcherson, the movie, which is based on the popular Five Nights at Freddy’s video game series by Scott Cawthon, stars Elizabeth Lail as Vanessa Helly, Piper Rubio as Abby Schmidt, Mckenna Grace as Lisa, Freddy Carter as Michael Afton, Theodus Crane as Jeremiah, Teo Briones as Alex, Wayne Knight as Mr. Berg, Skeet Ulrich as Henry Emily, and Matthew Lillard as William Afton.

The script comes from Cawthon, with Cawthon also serving as a producer on the project alongside Jason Blum. Tammi, Beatriz Sequeira, Christopher H. Warner, Russell Binder, and Marc Mostman serve as executive producers.

Lillard previously told ComingSoon in an exclusive interview about Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, “Unfortunately for me, I don’t have a huge part in it. I do think the stuff I get to do is fantastic. I love it. Our hope is that we get to do three films. That’s always been the plan. Everything is dependent on how the movie does in theaters. Like, if it does well, there’s a good chance, obviously — Hollywood chases big hits. So we’re hoping for another big hit, so that we can go off and make the third movie. Which, at the end of the day, will be more William Afton vs. Mike. So we’ll see how it goes.”
