Directed by Hamish Hamilton, the concert is designed as a large-scale international broadcast, allowing viewers around the world to watch the comeback in real time.
The second release, BTS: THE RETURN (2026), premieres March 27 as a Netflix Original documentary. Directed by Bao Nguyen and produced by This Machine in collaboration with HYBE, the film follows the group in Los Angeles as they resume work together and reflect on their evolution since debuting in 2013. The documentary examines how the group approaches a new chapter, balancing their legacy with the challenge of beginning again after time apart.
Netflix said in a statement, “BTS: THE RETURN is an intimate, emotional, and often joyful portrait of resilience, brotherhood, and reinvention.” Following the album’s release, BTS has scheduled to launch the ARIRANG World Tour, running from 2026 to 2027.
