Brad Pitt’s $239 Million Action Movie Exits Prime Video Very Soon

Brad Pitt’s high-octane action thriller is set to leave Prime Video soon. The 2022 film, which earned $239 million worldwide, will no longer be available on the platform in the coming days. Fans who have been eager to stream the movie online have a limited window left to watch it before it exits the platform.

Bullet Train leaves Prime Video in early March

Bullet Train is nearing the end of its run on Prime Video. The film leaves the platform on March 2, 2026, marking the last day subscribers can stream it there. After that, viewers will have to rent or purchase it on another service. The exit falls under standard licensing shifts. It closes out the movie’s current streaming window.

David Leitch directed the action flick. The story centers on Ladybug, a burned-out hitman played by Brad Pitt. He boards a Japanese bullet train to grab a briefcase. The job sounds simple, but it soon escalates. Multiple assassins ride the same train, with their missions connecting in unexpected ways. The ensemble cast features Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, and Sandra Bullock. The film packs tight action, sharp banter, and dark comedy into one non-stop ride on a speeding train.

Columbia Pictures and 87North Productions backed the project and handled its release through Sony Pictures Releasing. The studio spent an estimated $85 to $90 million to bring it to the screen. The gamble paid off. The movie pulled in about $239 million worldwide. That total made it a strong box office player (via Box Office Mojo).

Viewers responded well. The film carries a 7.3 out of 10 user rating on IMDb. Critics proved more divided. On Rotten Tomatoes, the critics’ score sits in the mid-50% range. The audience score climbs much higher, hinting that fans clearly embraced it more than reviewers did.

For Pitt, the film added another global hit to a long career that includes action, drama, and Oscar-winning performances. For viewers, the clock is ticking. After March 2, Bullet Train will no longer be part of Prime Video’s lineup.
