Mira Sorvino & Marshawn Lynch College Football Movie Signing Tony Raymond Sets Digital Release Date
Vantage Media has announced the digital release date for Signing Tony Raymond, its newest sports comedy-drama led by Michael Mosley (Ozark, Seven Seconds). Set in the high-stakes world of college football, the movie had its world premiere last year at the Austin Film Festival.
“Set in the Deep South, the film follows Coach Walt McFadden, a talented but idealistic assistant coach at Louisiana University who’s out of second chances,” reads the official synopsis. “After failing to land a top recruit the previous year, Walt is given one last shot at redemption: Signing the nation’s number one defensive end, Tony Raymond — or losing his job. His pursuit takes him deep into the backwoods of Alabama, where he discovers that money doesn’t always determine who wins.”

Besides Mosley, the cast also includes Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino (Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion) and Rob Morgan (Mudbound, Just Mercy).
