2 Popular Charlize Theron & Oscar Isaac Movies Out Today on Netflix

Two star-studded supernatural comedy movies from MGM have just been added to Netflix‘s wide-range library. These movies starring Academy Award winner Charlize Theron and Golden Globe winner Oscar Isaac currently have a combined worldwide gross of over $323 million at the box office.

Beginning today, 2019’s The Addams Family and 2021’s The Addams Family 2 are now finally streaming on Netflix. The popular animated franchise was based on Charles Addams’ iconic cartoon series. In the films, Theron and Isaac provided the voices for Morticia and Gomez Addams, respectively. They were joined by Chloë Grace Moretz as Wednesday Addams, Nick Kroll as Uncle Fester, Bette Midler as Grandmama, and Snoop Dogg as IT, with Finn Wolfhard and Javon Walton playing Pugsley Addams. The franchise also featured the voices of acclaimed stars Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Hader, Pom Klementieff, Mikey Madison, and more.

“Members of the mysterious and spooky Addams Family — Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Uncle Fester, and Grandma — are readily preparing for a visit from their even creepier relatives. But trouble soon arises when shady TV personality Margaux Needler realizes that the Addams’ eerie hilltop mansion is standing in the way of her dream to sell all the houses in the neighborhood,” reads the synopsis for the first installment.

The 2019 and 2021 movies were both directed by Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon. The first installment garnered mixed reviews from critics, but it still has a higher approval rating than the sequel. The animated franchise was launched before Netflix’s widely popular live-action Wednesday series had made its debut. The Jenna Ortega-led show is now on its third season, which has just started filming earlier this week.
