House of David Season 2 Release Date Set for Hit Show’s Prime Video Debut

Prime Video has finally announced the global release date and key art for House of David Season 2, which first premiered last October 2025 on the Wonder Project. This comes nearly a year after the hit epic biblical drama show debuted its first installment, which garnered 22 million viewers during the first 17 days of its release.

“The story tells the story of the ascent of the biblical figure, David, who eventually becomes the most renowned and celebrated king of Israel,” reads the official synopsis. “Season 2 will follow the aftermath of the battle between David and Goliath and David’s rise to the throne. As he navigates palace politics, his family’s jealousy, and a growing romance, David steps deeper into his destiny and learns what it means to become a great leader.”

When is the release date for House of David Season 2?

All eight episodes of House of David Season 2 will finally start streaming on March 27, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video. Lead star Michael Iskander will also be reprising his titular role in in the new installment, along with fellow returning cast members Ali Suliman (Jack Ryan) as King Saul, Ayelet Zurer (Angels And Demons) as Queen Ahinoam, Stephen Lang (Avatar: The Way of Water) as Samuel, Indy Lewis (Industry) as Mychal and Yali Topol Margalith (Tattooist of Auschwitz) as Mirab, Ethan Kai as Jonathan, Sam Otto (Snowpiercer) as Eshbaal, Oded Fehr (Star Trek) as Abner, Louis Ferreira (Breaking Bad) as Jesse, and more.

Visionary filmmakers and Wonder Project creative leaders Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn are once again serving as directors, writers, and executive producers for House of the David Season 2. The show is based on an idea by Erwin. It is produced by Wonder Project, Amazon MGM Studios, Nomadic Pictures, Argonauts, Kingdom Story Company, and Lionsgate Television. It is also executive produced by Justin Rosenblatt, Trey Callaway, Michael Frislev, Chad Oakes, Ethan Reiff & Cyrus Voris, and Jonathan Walker.
