LaBeouf got into an altercation in the French Quarter shortly after midnight on Tuesday. The shirtless LaBeouf needed medical attention from paramedics following the brawl. LaBeouf was later charged with two counts of simple battery.

On Tuesday, TMZ later spotted LaBeouf at a bar less than an hour after his 3 p.m. court appearance. The outlet also reported LaBeouf and his partner, actress Mia Goth, secretly separated a year ago. The couple has one child together.

LaBeouf is no stranger to legal issues. In 2014, LaBeouf was arrested for disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and harassment at New York City’s Studio 54. LaBeouf later sought alcoholism treatment.

In 2017, LaBeouf was arrested in Georgia for public intoxication. The actor was sentenced to probation for one year and ordered to seek help for anger management and substance abuse.
