Dwayne Johnson Celebrates Jumanji 3 Wrap for Hollywood Legend
A major update has emerged from the set of Jumanji 3 as one of its key stars completes filming. Dwayne Johnson marked the milestone with a public message recognizing his longtime co-star’s contribution to the franchise.

Johnson announced on February 17, 2026, that Danny DeVito had wrapped filming on Jumanji 3 in a post on X. He wrote, “That’s an official Jumanji wrap on the one and the only, Danny DeVito.” Johnson added, “To work with you, and learn from you has been an honor ~ and to call you my friend, will always be a privilege.”
In the same message, Johnson thanked DeVito for his presence throughout the franchise, stating, “Thank you, brother for your anchoring heart and JOY throughout our Jumanji franchise.” He also wrote, “Let’s tell more stories together,” and added, “ps, please keep smilin’ and please keep exfoliating the top of your head.” The post included photos from the set featuring DeVito and Kevin Hart.
The wrap comes three months after production on the new installment began in November 2025. Johnson previously marked the start of filming by sharing an image from the first table read in Los Angeles, where the film is being shot. He wrote, “Officially kicking off production of ‘JUMANJI’, at our cast table read in Los Angeles – where we will film as well.”
Describing the new installment, Johnson said, “What a massive, fun, heartfelt adventure. Feels emotionally appropriate for our beloved JUMANJI franchise to end on this beautiful grace note of our final film.” He also noted, “Amazing to get the whole gang back together, and our jaws were hurting from laughing so hard. We all talked about how much we’ve missed this kinda joy and fun. Let’s make a good one.”
Jake Kasdan directs Jumanji 3. The film brings back franchise regulars Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, and Nick Jonas alongside Johnson. Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser’Darius Blaine, Morgan Turner, and Awkwafina will also reprise their roles.
