A John Wick video game is in development
A new “Untitled John Wick Game” video game is in development by Saber Interactive in collaboration with Lionsgate. Keanu Reeves reprises his role in the single-player third-person action title, which Saber Interactive is developing for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Saber and Lionsgate describe the AAA game as “tailored for mature audiences” and set it in the John Wick timeline, years before the Impossible Task. The game expands the franchise’s lore by introducing new characters alongside familiar ones. Chad Stahelski, director of the John Wick films, and Reeves both contribute to the project.
Jenefer Brown, Lionsgate’s President of Global Products & Experiences, said, “I can’t wait for fans to step into the shoes of John Wick and explore the multi-dimensional world of The High Table.”
Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive, stated, “John Wick is one of the most iconic characters in action film history. Saber is honored to be working alongside Chad, Keanu and the Lionsgate team in a true collaboration to bring the world of Wick to life in a AAA game.”
