Nick Jonas Battles Nepo Babies in New Action Movie Bodyman

Nick Jonas is set to return to Hollywood with a new starring role in the upcoming action thriller Bodyman.

What do we know about Bodyman?

According to a new report from Variety, Jonas will star in the upcoming movie, which is set to launch sales at the European Film Market this week. The movie will be directed by Gary Fleder (Homefront), from a script written by Byron Balasco (Kingdom). Filming on the project is set to begin sometime in June over the summer.

The movie follows “a violent struggle for power and, ultimately survival, that ensues during a family Christmas when an eccentric billionaire unexpectedly signs over his nepo-baby children’s expected inheritance of his private military company to his longtime bodyguard (Jonas),” according to the film’s logline. “Who will make it out of their remote family estate alive?”

Jonas is best known for his work in the music world, both as part of the group Jonas Brothers alongside with his brothers Kevin and Joe, as well as for his own solo work, which has seen Jonas release five different albums.

Since 2009, Jonas has also been acting, with some of his biggest roles coming in the Jumanji franchise as well as in 2025’s You’re Cordially Invited. His next movie roles include starring in the upcoming musical comedy film Power Ballad as well as the next Jumanji movie.
