With Scream 7 hitting theaters later this month, a new clip marking the start of ticket sales has been released. Scream 7’s new clip and poster released

A new Scream 7 clip was shared by Fandango, along with a caption encouraging fans to purchase their tickets for the upcoming film. “Ghostface returns. The killing begins,” the caption reads.

In the clip, Michelle Randolph’s character answers a call from someone, believing it’s her boyfriend, Scott. She asks him why he called, and the person on the other end warns her, “It’s not Scott. You’re going to die tonight.” Randolph’s character responds by jokingly telling the person that their scary voice is “sexy” but needs work.

The clip cuts to the character being snuck up on by someone dressed as the Ghostface killer. When the killer attacks her, she pushes them away and runs to the stairs while they pursue. The two fight on the staircase, resulting in them both going over the railing, with the killer falling to the floor and Randolph’s character hanging on to the ceiling lights for dear life. Struggling to hold on while swinging back and forth, she loses her grip and falls while the Ghostface killer readies their knife for her to fall onto.

Several posters for Scream 7 were shared on social media.

Scream 7 hits theaters on February 27, 2026. Kevin Williamson, who wrote the first two Scream movies as well as the fourth, directed the film from his and Guy Busick’s screenplay. Busick also developed the story with James Vanderbilt.

The film brings back Sidney Prescott, who was absent from Scream 6. The story follows Prescott, who has built a new life in Pine Grove, Indiana. Unfortunately, her dark past comes back to haunt her when Ghostface returns. However, she realizes that their target this time isn’t her, but her daughter, Tatum. Left with no choice, she embarks on a grueling mission to stop the masked figure’s violence.
