Mark Ruffalo Tells Marty Supreme’s Kevin O’Leary to ‘STFU’ After Billie Eilish Comments

Mark Ruffalo recently took to social media to send a stern message to Kevin O’Leary following comments the latter made about Billie Eilish.

What did Mark Ruffalo say to Kevin O’Leary?

Earlier this week, O’Leary told Eilish to “shut your mouth and just entertain” after Eilish accepted her award for Song of the Year. During her acceptance speech, Eilish spoke about the ongoing protests against ICE, and noted that “no one is illegal on stolen land.” In a recent post on Threads, Ruffalo had a strong message for the Marty Supreme star.

In his post criticizing O’Leary’s comments, Ruffalo told him to “STFU,” and said that his comments were hypocritical considering his own past of going on talk shows and talking about any number of topics.

“Kevin O’Leary why don’t you STFU. It’s hilarious. You will go on any show and talk sh-t about any number of things and smugly expect us to listen to you, but you will dig into a real artist that dwarfs anything you dream of doing for actually saying something that resonates with 100’s of millions of people the world over,” wrote Ruffalo. “It’s astounding the fantasy double standard Kevin O’Leary lives in. You played yourself well in Marty Supreme.”

Ruffalo is no stranger to speaking up for his views. The star’s social media page features a litany of posts about ongoing protests, as well as his views on Donald Trump, politics as a whole, and more.
