Scream 7 Features Unexpected Collab With Horror Icons
Scream 7 is almost out, and ahead of its release on February 27, 2026, Paramount Pictures is teasing some big collaborations with musicians, including some horror icons.
What horror icons is Scream 7 collaborating with?
In a recent post on Instagram, the official Scream 7 channel shared a video of Ghostface looking at various pictures of music artists. The post is teasing a new batch of original music for the movie coming out. Artists like Sueco the Child, Jessie Murph, and Stella Lefty are set to release songs, but fans were quick to spot Ice Nine Kills, the heavy metal band, listed as well.
Ice Nine Kills is no stranger to the world of horror, having made horror-themed music videos in the past. Their last two albums, The Silver Scream and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood, are also heavily inspired by the world of horror movies, with track titles and visuals all inspired by classic horror movies.

- “Rearranging Scars” by Sueco the Child – February 13
- “Twisting the Knife” by Ice Nine Kills featuring Scream 7 McKenna Grace – February 19
- “Criminal” by Jessie Murph – February 27
- “The Kill” by Stella Lefty – February 27

Scream 7 is led by stars Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox, both of whom are returning to the Scream franchise. The seventh installment also stars Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Anna Camp, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Joel McHale, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons, and Mark Consuelos. Franchise creator Kevin Williamson is directing the seventh installment from a screenplay he co-wrote with Guy Busick. It is produced by William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein.
The next installment is also expected to feature the surprise returns of franchise vets Matthew Lillard, Scott Foley, and David Arquette. They are set to reprise their roles as Stu Macher, Roman Bridger, and Dewey Riley despite their characters’ respective deaths in 1996’s Scream, 2000’s Scream 3, and 2022’s Scream.
