Ryan Phillippe Stars in Survival Thriller Movie One Mile Trailer

Republic Pictures has released the official trailer for One Mile, the upcoming action thriller led by Ryan Phillippe (Shooter). The movie is divided into two parts, which will be available to rent or own simultaneously on digital platforms starting on February 20, 2026.

“The film follows a former special forces operative trying to reconnect with his teenage daughter during a college road trip. When an unexpected detour puts them in the sights of a secretive, off-the-grid community, his daughter is taken, and the trip erupts into a high-octane fight for survival,” reads the official synopsis for Chapter One. “Alone and outnumbered, he’s forced to use every skill he has to track them down, take them apart, and bring his daughter home.”

What happens in the One Mile trailer?

The video introduces Phillippe as a father hoping to reconnect with his teenage daughter by accompanying her on a college road trip. However, their trip unexpectedly brings them to an off-the-grid community, where they’re suddenly attacked by violent residents. Using his experience as a special forces soldier, Phillippe’s Danny will do everything in his power to protect his daughter. The trailer highlights some of the movie’s thrilling and action-packed sequences, as Danny shows why they’ve messed with the wrong father.

The One Mile movies are directed by Adam Davidson. The ensemble cast includes Amélie Hoeferle as Alex, Sara Canning as Janine, C. Thomas Howell as Stanley Dixon, Richard Harmon as Ray Dixon, Beverley Elliott as Abigail Dixon, Sage Linder as Lily Copeland, Anthony Timpano as Brandon Dalwood, and more.

“A former special forces operative is forced back onto a remote island when the violent, secretive community he fought once before abducts his daughter in an act of revenge. Launched into a relentless hunt, he faces an enemy that’s ready and anticipating his every move,” reads the synopsis.

Chapter One was written by TJ Brady, Rasheed Newson, and John Hlavin from a story by John Hlavin and Josh Senter. Meanwhile, Chapter Two was penned by Brady and Newson, based on the story by Hlavin, Brady, and Newson. The R-rated movies are produced by Aaron Kaplan, Michael Lohmann, Jaiden Kaplan, Ryan Phillippe, Chad Oakes, Michael Frislev, and Adam Davidson.
