  • 5 Horror Movies That are Perfect to Watch on Valentine’s Day

Here are our recommendations for five romantic horror movies to stream this month.

What horror movies are perfect to watch on Valentine’s Day?

Heart Eyes (Netflix)

A recent addition to the romantic horror movie canon, Heart Eyes is Josh Ruben’s holiday slasher movie from last year. There’s a serial killer who hunts couples on Valentine’s Day. Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding are coworkers who get mistaken by the killer for a couple, meaning their lives are now in danger. And then some actual romance emerges while the two are running for their lives. Cute! Fun! Heart Eyes is a blast!

Companion (Prime Video)

And, now, for a different kind of love story: Companion. Everything seems fine on the surface when a couple, Iris (Sophie Thatcher) and Jack Quaid (Josh Beeman), head out to the country for a relaxing vacation. We quickly learn that it’s not. There are a lot of twists and turns in 2025’s Companion, some of which the marketing gave away — even if you think you know some of the spoilers, though, you should still watch it, because this has more than one surprise up its sleeve.

Warm Bodies (Hoopla)

Before he was Lex Luthor, Nicholas Hoult was just a little zombie boy who happened to fall in love with a still-human girl, played by Teresa Palmer. It’s a fun premise that then makes for a fun movie. Also would make for an interesting double-feature with 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, given some of the zombie-related stuff that happens in that movie with the Samson character.

Twilight (HBO Max)

It is the greatest love story, after all. It’s Twilight. We all know Twilight. Whether you love it, hate it, ironically get a kick out of it, or unironically think it’s brilliant, there’s something that keeps pulling us all back to Twilight. Watch the first one. Watch any of them. Watch them all! Can’t go wrong with some Twilight this Valentine’s Day.

Bram Stoker’s Dracula (Netflix)

Francis Ford Coppola is swinging for the fences with Bram Stoker’s Dracula. It’s a movie that, like, just gives you so much to look at. The production design is out of this world. But we also get a nice little love triangle in there between Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, and Keanu Reeves. It’s a fun time; you can’t go wrong with putting Bram Stoker’s Dracula on.
