Incredible Hulk’s Lou Ferrigno Stars in Cannibal Horror Movie The Hermit Trailer
Uncork’d Entertainment has released the official trailer for The Hermit, the upcoming horror thriller starring Incredible Hulk vet Lou Ferrigno in his first creature role after starring as the iconic character on the CBS show. The video introduces Ferrigno as a feral-looking killing machine who eats his victims. This is seemingly the only way of survival he learned from his beloved mother.
“Dragged on a vacation to the woods, teenagers Lisa and Eric’s outing quickly spirals into a nightmare as they fight for their lives against an unstoppable cannibal pig farmer,” reads the official synopsis.

When is the digital release date for The Hermit?
Following its Los Angeles premiere, The Hermit will then be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on March 3. Described as a dark horror take with a quirky edge, the movie will also be led by Malina Weissman (A Series of Unfortunate Events) and Anthony Turpel (Love, Victor). Additional cast members include James Quattrochi, Christopher Collins, Marilyn Busch, Bruce Faulk, Isabelle McCalla, Lana Ford, Julie Chang, Deborah Marcano, Devon Michaels, Julian Fletcher, and D’Kia Anderson.
The movie is directed by U.S.-based Italian filmmaker Salvatore Sclafani. This marks his English-language feature production, after producing the 2019 thriller Tyger Tiger starring Dylan Sprouse. It is produced by Gerry Pass of Chrome Entertainment and First Child Prods. The creative team consists of cinematographer David Wolfgang and editor David Napier.
“Lou Ferrigno delivers a performance that horror fans won’t see coming,” Uncork’d Entertainment boss Keith Leopard said in a statement. “The Hermit is dark, action-packed, and wildly entertaining. It’s exactly the kind of bold genre film our audience loves, and we can’t wait for viewers to experience it this March.”
