Brenda Song & Jason Biggs Comedy Movie Operation Taco Gary’s Gets Trailer

Chroma has shared the official trailer for Operation Taco Gary’s, the upcoming sci-fi road trip comedy led by Simon Rex (Scary Movie) and Dustin Milligan (Schitt’s Creek). The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on February 27, 2026.

“Two brothers embark on a cross-country road trip that quickly devolves when they become involved in a global conspiracy,” reads the official logline.

What happens in the Operation Taco Gary’s trailer?

The video introduces Rex as Danny, a conspiracy theorist who embarks on a crazy road trip with his younger brother, Luke. The latter helplessly endures his brother’s wild shenanigans, leading him to break his ankle, get accidentally shot, and be chased down by the police. The trailer highlights some of the movie’s hilarious sequences, as the sibling duo gets involved in a global conspiracy.

Operation Taco Gary’s also stars Brenda Song (Running Point) as Allison, Tony Cavalero (The Righteous Gemstones) as Klyle, Arturo Castro (Broad City) as Tiago, and Doug Jone (Hellboy) as Elder, with Jason Biggs (American Pie) as himself. The movie is written and directed by Mikey K in his feature-length directorial debut. It is produced by Matthew Vaughan, Jimmy Miller, M. Riley, Brian David Cange, Jack Sheehan, Scott Martin, Michael Thomas Slifkin, Bill Dawes, Patricia Lamond, Viviana Zarragoitia, and David Gendron.

The creative team consists of composer Jason Lazarus and cinematographer Zoran Popovic, along with editors Josh Crockett and Spencer Houck. The movie had its world premiere last October 2024 at the Austin Film Festival. It has a total runtime of 88 minutes.
