More than fifteen years after its theatrical debut, Chris Evans’ supernatural thriller Push is drawing new attention online. The 2009 release has climbed into Tubi’s Top 10 most-streamed free titles, ranking at No. 5 on the service’s chart this week, according to FlixPatrol. After his father is killed, Nick Gant goes into hiding in Hong Kong while trying to evade Division, a secret U.S. agency that conducts experiments on people with psychic powers. There, he connects with Cassie Holmes, a teenage clairvoyant. Holmes him for help tracking down Kira Hollis, a young woman who has recently fled the agency.

As Division closes in, Nick and his allies recruit other gifted individuals to protect Kira and fight against agency’s operatives, including its enforcer Henry Carver. In addition to Evans, the film features Dakota Fanning as Cassie Holmes, Camilla Belle as Kira Hudson, Djimon Hounsou as Division agent Henry Carver, and Joel Gretsch as Jonah Gant.

Chris Evans’ Push debuted in theaters in February 2009 and went on to earn approximately $49 million worldwide. According to Box Office Mojo, the film collected about $31 million at the domestic box office. It garnered $17 million internationally. However, Push’s reviews at the time were largely unfavorable. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds a 23 percent critics’ score and a 42 percent audience rating.
