The Terminal List Season 2 Release Date Window Revealed

Chris Pratt revealed new details about The Terminal List Season 2’s release as anticipation builds for the next chapter in the action-thriller series. The show’s star addressed the long delay and confirmed the upcoming season’s timeline while offering a brief update on production progress.

Chris Pratt confirms The Terminal List Season 2 release date window

Chris Pratt confirmed on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that Season 2 of The Terminal List will be released later in 2026. He stated, “We’re done with Season 2. We’re in post right now. We’ve locked six of eight episodes.” Production wrapped in October 2025, following a global shoot that included South Africa, North America, and Morocco.

The delay in release is largely due to Chris Pratt’s packed schedule following the success of The Terminal List Season 1 in 2022. In the years since, Pratt led several high-profile projects including The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Garfield Movie, and The Electric State. To fill the gap between seasons, Amazon released the prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which concluded airing in September 2025.

Season 2 began filming in spring 2025 and wrapped in fall of the same year. Based on Season 1’s post-production timeline of 11 months, the expected release window for Season 2 falls between September and October 2026. This schedule creates a four-year gap between the first and second seasons, marking one of the longest intervals for a major streaming series.

Chris Pratt also expressed interest in potentially involving his father-in-law Arnold Schwarzenegger in the series. “I would love to incorporate Arnold in The Terminal List,” he said. “Fans of the book will know who it is.” While this casting remains unofficial, it signals ambitions for expanding the series universe further.

In total, Season 2 will feature eight episodes. As of the latest update, six episodes have completed post-production, with two remaining in progress. Pratt’s continued commitment suggests a potential future for the franchise beyond Season 2.
