Supernatural Horror Movie The Morrigan Gets Spooky Trailer & Release Date
Cineverse has shared the official trailer and release date for The Morrigan, the upcoming supernatural horror movie from filmmaker Colum Eastwood. The video shows a young woman being possessed by an angry Pagan goddess after her mother brought her to a remote island.
“The film follows an archaeologist specialising in Gaelic mythology who travels with her teenage daughter to a remote region of Ireland. The two are forced to fight for their lives as a vengeful Pagan War Goddess is released from her tomb,” reads the official synopsis.

When is the release date for The Morrigan?
The Morrigan will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on February 3, 2026. The ensemble cast includes Saffron Burrows (Troy), Toby Stephens (Die Another Day), James Cosmo (Braveheart), Art Parkinson (Game of Thrones), Michael Shea (Drop), Jonathan Forbes (Fearless), Emily Flain (Silverpoint), Antonia Campbell-Hughes (Dangerous Liaisons), and more.
The movie is written and directed by Eastwood. Executive producers are Michael Bassick, Nora Cservenka, Michael Laundon, Jan Pace, Nikola Panic, Bob Portal, and Inderpal Singh, with Ashley Holberry and Gavin Cosmo Mehrtens serving as producers. The creative team consists of cinematographer Robert Binnall, editor Fredrik Limi, composer James Everett, production designer Patrick Creighton, and costume designer Susan Scott.
