Masters of the Universe Teaser Trailer Shows Off Nicholas Galitzine’s He-Man

Amazon MGM Studios has finally shared a teaser trailer for its highly anticipated adaptation of Mattel’s Masters of the Universe, led by Nicholas Galitzine (Red, White & Royal Blue, Bottoms). It is currently slated to arrive in theaters on June 5, 2026.

“After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam back to Eternia, where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor. To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela and Duncan/Man-At-Arms, and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe,” reads the official synopsis.

The teaser trailer offers a glimpse of its main cast, including Galitzine as the beloved hero He-Man, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, and Camila Mendes as Teela. It also offers fans a first look at the magical planet of Eternia. The video also teases He-Man wielding the iconic Sword of Power. The movie also stars Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Charlotte Riley, and Jared Leto, with Kristin Wiig as the voice of Roboto.

Travis Knight is directing the live-action Masters of the Universe movie from a screenplay written by Chris Butler, Aaron Nee, Adam Nee, and Dave Callaham. Based on Mattel’s classic 80’s toy brand, the adaptation is expected to deliver breathtaking visuals, heart-pounding action, and exhilarating fun. The movie is a production by Escape Artists and Mattel Studios, with Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Robbie Brenner, Steve Tisch, and DeVon Franklin serving as producers. Executive producers are Ynon Kreiz, Bill Bannerman, and David Bloomfield.
