Adam Huss is set to headline a new Hallmark holiday feature, marking his next major role following his work on General Hospital. The Christmas-themed romantic comedy, titled Mistletoe Mansion, is currently in production and is expected to premiere during Hallmark’s 2026 holiday slate (via Soaps).
The film is set around a Christmas-themed reality dating show and explores the challenges behind the scenes. Huss plays Jimmy, the show’s director, who is focused on delivering a picture-perfect romantic ending for television. As filming unfolds, relationships become more complicated and do not follow the planned storyline, creating tension both on and off camera.
Speaking about the project, Huss said the script stood out to him immediately. He described the script as emotionally grounded while still offering playful twists. “As soon as I started reading the script, I was like, ‘Oh, this is funny and heartfelt.’ So, there are some great, fun twists,” the actor said. He also noted that the story reflects current audience interest.
Huss also acknowledged enjoying reality series such as Survivor, The Amazing Race, and The Traitors. He said, “I get sucked into these shows, and I am so busy with other work and trying to get things off the ground as a producer and a writer… but I can’t commit to that many seasons.”
The film also features appearances from well-known reality TV personalities, including The Challenge alum Cara Maria Sorbello and Big Brother veteran Rachel Reilly. It is expected to premiere as part of Hallmark’s 2026 Christmas lineup.
