Avengers: Doomsday Star Explains How He Accidentally ‘Broke’ Pedro Pascal

One of the stars of Avengers: Doomsday says they accidentally injured Pedro Pascal while filming the MCU movie.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday is now in post-production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie will be released in United States theaters later this year. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, follows in 2027.

Who injured Pedro Pascal when filming Avengers: Doomsday?

Appearing on a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, actor Alan Cumming revealed that Pedro Pascal injured his neck when they were filming a scene together.

“What was funny was, my first scene with Pedro, he hurt his neck and had to go home. I broke Pedro,” Cumming, who will be seen reprising his role as the X-Men character Nightcrawler in Avengers: Doomsday, said. 

Cumming said that his character and Mister Fantastic/Reed Richards weren’t fighting one another in the scene where Pascal was injured; however, he didn’t reveal any more details beyond that. Cumming said he previously got in trouble with Marvel for spoiling the fact that Nightcrawler fights Mister Fantastic in a Doomsday scene.
