Avengers: Doomsday’s 4th Teaser Shows King of Wakanda Meeting [Spoiler]

Marvel Studios has unveiled new footage from Avengers: Doomsday, and the latest teaser hints at a pivotal meeting for the King of Wakanda. The brief scenes set up an unexpected crossover, signaling deeper connections forming across the multiverse.

M’Baku and Shuri meet The Thing in new Avengers: Doomsday teaser

The fourth Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer is now playing in theaters alongside Avatar: Fire and Ash. The footage shows Wakandan characters Namor, Namora, Shuri, and King M’Baku, with Shuri narrating, “I’ve lost everyone that matters to me. A King has his duties to prepare our people for the afterlife. I have mine.” In a key scene, M’Baku introduces himself to Ben Grimm, saying, “King M’Baku, of Wakanda,” to which Grimm replies, “Ben. Yancy Street, between Broome and Grand.”

The teaser concludes with Shuri performing the “Wakanda Forever” pose before boarding a ship. The final message reads, “The Wakandans and The Fantastic Four will return in Avengers: Doomsday.” The meeting appears to mark the first on-screen crossover between the Fantastic Four and the Wakandans. Only Ben Grimm is shown, but other members of the team are expected to appear later.

The teaser continues the trend of multiversal team-ups hinted at in previous Avengers: Doomsday trailers. The Fantastic Four’s presence may connect to Doctor Doom, who reportedly seeks their help with incoming incursions. A multiversal threat and crossover storyline are implied as a backdrop to this alliance.

There is also a rumor that Damson Idris is set to portray the new Black Panther. According to The Geeky Cast, Idris “is going to be spending a lot of time at Pinewood Studios this year… shooting multiple movies as The Black Panther.”

Idris previously appeared with Angela Bassett and Danai Gurira at Vogue World: Hollywood, fueling speculation. At the TIME100 Next Gala, when asked about the Black Panther rumors, Idris responded, “No, no. I don’t know anything about it [Laughs].”

Avengers: Doomsday releases December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.
