Avengers: Doomsday 3rd Teaser Trailer Brings Back Beloved X-Men Characters

The third Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer has been released.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday is currently in post-production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie will be released at the end of this year. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, then follows in 2027.

The first Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer, which was attached to Avatar: Fire and Ash, revealed that Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers is returning to the MCU. Around the time of its release, it was revealed that there would be three more Doomsday teaser trailers released in the near future, the second of which came out last week and focuses on Chris Hemsworth’s Thor.

What happens in the third Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer?

Now, Marvel has unveiled the third Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer, which sees James Marsden’s Cyclops/Scott Summers character return alongside Patrick Stewart’s Professor X. Marsden’s character was featured in a number of the Fox X-Men movies; however, he hasn’t been seen since a cameo appearance in 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past.

In addition to Marsden, the cast of Avengers: Doomsday includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijnn as Mystique, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.

Avengers: Doomsday arrives on December 18, 2026, while Avengers: Secret Wars has been dated for December 17, 2027.
