James Bond: 2 Popular Actors Up for 007 Role — Report

A new report has shed light on two actors who might be up for the role of James Bond in Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming 007 movie.

What two actors are currently up for the James Bond role?

According to a new report from World of Reel, both Callum Turner and Jacob Elordi remain in the mix to be crowned the next James Bond. Turner’s name recently rose to the top as the most likely to be Bond, with oddsmakers listing him as the favorite to nab the role.

Turner was recently seen on holiday with his partner, Dua Lipa, at a resort at Oracabessa Bay, the former estate of author Ian Fleming. Turner is best known for his roles in the Fantastic Beasts movies, where he played Newt Scamander. He’s also starred in 2025’s Eternity, The Boys in the Boat, and more.

Despite the oddsmakers picking him as the favorite, though, World of Reel notes that Turner’s all-but-certain chances are being over-reported. The report mentions that Elordi (Frankenstein, Euphoria) remains in the mix, and that Villeneuve has yet to dive deeper into the next James Bond movie until his next film, Dune: Part Three, is fully done.

Currently, little is known about Villeneuve’s upcoming James Bond movie. The film will be written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and will be the first Bond movie made since Amazon gained full control of the franchise.
