Avengers: Doomsday’s Next Teaser Is the Best, Claim Fans
The third Avengers: Doomsday teaser, focusing on the X-Men, is now playing in theaters, and Cyclops fans have reacted positively. The highly anticipated MCU film is set to release later this year. It will see the mutant team fight Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, who will also pose a threat to other heroes, including the Fantastic Four and New Avengers.
Cyclops fans rejoice with Avengers: Doomsday’s third teaser
Avengers: Doomsday Teaser 3, featuring Patrick Stewart’s Professor X, Ian McKellen’s Magneto, and James Marsden’s Cyclops, is now playing in theaters. The footage includes dark shots of the X-Mansion, Magneto and Professor X reaching out and holding hands while smiling at each other and playing chess, and a furious Cyclops removing his visor and unleashing an energy blast while a Sentinel walks behind him.
Notably, in the trailer, Scott Summers is seen wearing his classic suit — complete with blue tights, a yellow utility belt and a chest strap with the X-Men logo, yellow underwear, a yellow visor, and yellow boots. This suit is featured in X-Men: The Animated Series and its revival, X-Men ’97.
Fans have since reacted to the footage and shared their thoughts on social media. Many of them expressed excitement at Cyclops’ return to the big screen and Marvel finally doing justice to the character.
Given that the Steve Rogers and Thor trailers were released online a few days after their theatrical debuts, fans can expect the X-Men trailer to arrive online by next week.
Magneto, Cyclops, and Professor X are three of the seven X-Men confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday. The other four are Kelsey Grammer’s Beast, Alan Cumming’s Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn’s Mystique, and Channing Tatum’s Gambit.
Avengers: Doomsday premieres in theaters on December 18, 2026. Anthony and Joe Russo directed the film from Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron’s screenplay. In addition, the Russos co-produced the film with Marvel Studios via their production company, AGBO.
Meanwhile, Doomsday’s sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, which will also be directed by the Russos, will arrive on December 17, 2027.
