Chris Pratt’s Underrated Time Travel War Movie Arriving on Peacock
Peacock is ready with an exciting lineup of movies and TV shows for 2026, and among them is one of Chris Pratt‘s underrated sci-fi-action films. The Tomorrow War will join the Peacock library in January, along with a lineup of rom-coms, thrillers, and other family classics. Directed by Chris McKay, Amazon MGM Studios’ The Tomorrow War first came out in June 2021.
The Tomorrow War to stream on Peacock very soon
Starting January 1, 2026, The Tomorrow War will be available to stream on Peacock, arriving on the streaming platform as part of its January 2026 lineup. Originally planned as a theatrical release in 2021, the film produced by Skydance Media saw a change in plans. The film came out exclusively on Amazon Prime Video after Amazon MGM Studios acquired its distribution rights from Paramount Pictures during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Tomorrow War follows Dan Forester, a family man recruited by a group of time travellers from the year 2051 to help fight a global war against a deadly alien species. Traveling to the future, he joins soldiers from the present to fight a losing battle against the deadly creatures. With survival at stake, Dan tries uncover a way to save both the future and his family. This action/sci-fi thriller stars Chris Pratt as Dan Forester, Yvonne Strahovski as Colonel Muri Forester, and Betty Gilpin as Emmy Forester. The film’s supporting cast includes Jasmine Mathews, Sam Richardson, and J.K. Simmons, among others.
Peacock’s January 1, 2026 lineup also includes films and TV shows spanning across a variety of genres. Films like 17 Again, All Roads Lead to Rome, Before We Go, Dog Days, Little Italy, and The Proposal bring lighthearted love stories and humor to the lineup.
