Man of Steel’s Henry Cavill Returns in Unseen Superman Photo
Zack Snyder recently shared another unseen behind-the-scenes picture of Henry Cavill, this time in an early unused version of his Man of Steel suit. Snyder continues his streak of sharing his clicks from his DC film sets, as well as other behind-the-scenes footage like screen tests. Meanwhile, fans continue to campaign in his comments section for the revival of the Snyderverse.

By sharing another image from his archives dating back over a decade, Zack Snyder continues to fuel fans’ hopes for the Snyderverse’s restoration. The Man of Steel director took to Instagram to share a picture of Henry Cavill in an unused Superman suit.
He captioned the post featuring the black-and-white image, writing, “Before the suit was finalized. An early Man of Steel costume test, shot on 4×5 black-and-white Polaroid.” The costume seems to have a slightly different design around the shoulders.
Fans flooded the comments section with praise for Cavill’s casting as Superman and brought up the demand for the Snyderverse’s return. One fan wrote, “Reeve and Cavill embodied superman. No on else comes close,” while another commented, “Superman movie doesnt even stand close to the man of Steel, you should make a sequel of man of Steel if possible.”
Fans praised Cavill’s portrayal of Superman and continued to call for his return, writing, “Bring him back please no more slop,” while some even tagged Netflix, saying, “I want the real superman back #restorethesnyderverse @netflix.”
Less than a week ago, Snyder shared another iconic black-and-white still of Henry Cavill on the set of a fight scene from Man of Steel. He simply captioned it, writing, “henrycavill iconic.” Additionally, Netflix leading the Warner Bros. Discovery bid seems to have made a few fans more hopeful of a Snyderverse revival.
