Milla Jovovich’s Monster Movie Worldbreaker Gets Action-Filled Trailer

Aura Entertainment has shared the official trailer for Worldbreaker, the upcoming sci-fi action thriller starring Resident Evil vet Milla Jovovich. The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on January 30, 2026.

“After the Breakers rose—monsters that infect and twist their victims—men fell first, leaving women to lead the fight. Willa’s mother is one of the war’s fiercest warriors; her father, a battle-scarred veteran, hides with Willa on a remote island, training her to survive,” reads the official synopsis. “Their fragile peace is shattered when a mysterious girl drifts ashore. Willa, longing for connection, shelters her in secret—until the truth emerges and danger follows. With Breakers closing in, Willa must rely on her father’s training and her own courage to survive.”

What happens in the Worldbreaker trailer?

The video brings the audience to a world where monsters from an alternate dimension have taken over. Early efforts to stop the monsters led to the fall of men, leaving the fate of humanity in the hands of the remaining women. One of these survivors is a young girl who has been trained to survive and battle the monsters. The trailer also highlights some of the movie’s action-packed sequences, including the women warriors’ grueling fight against these otherworldly creatures.

Worldbreaker is directed by Brad Anderson, with Joshua Rollins writing the screenplay. Anderson is best known for his works on thriller movies like 2004’s The Machinist with Christian Bale and 2013’s The Call with Halle Berry. The ensemble cast also includes Luke Evans, Billie Boullet, Mila Harris, Kevin Glynn, Chris Finlayson, and more. The movie is produced by Martin Brennan, Jib Polhemus, Bradley Gallo, Michael Helfant, and Tracy Mercer, along with Rollins and Katy Jackson.
