Cloud Atlas 4K Clip Previews New Documentary on Tom Hanks & Halle Berry Movie | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Cloud Atlas 4K clip, previewing the upcoming documentary found on the new 4K UHD release of the movie. Cloud Atlas’ 4K release is set for December 23, 2025, and comes from Shout! Studios.

The exclusive clip comes from one of the many features on the film’s Blu-ray. The documentary, titled What Is an Ocean…Reconnecting The Cast and Crew of Cloud Atlas is hosted by Jon Donahue and features brand new interviews with directors Lana Wachowski, Tom Tykwer, and Lilly Wachowski, as well as several of the film’s stars.

“Cloud Atlas is an epic story of humankind in which the actions and consequences of our lives impact one another throughout the past, present, and future as one soul is shaped from a murderer into a savior and a single act of kindness ripples out for centuries to inspire a revolution,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

Cloud Atlas 4K UHD Release Includes Tons of Bonus Features

Originally released in 2012, Cloud Atlas is an epic sci-fi film based on the 2004 novel of the same name by David Mitchell. The film features multiple plots occurring across six different eras, and features a star-studded cast including Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, James D’Arcy, Zhou Xun, Keith David, Susan Sarandon, and Hugh Grant.
