Netflix Just Made Lindsay Lohan Movie Fans Very Happy
Netflix has confirmed the addition of two more Lindsay Lohan movies to the streaming platform’s collection this December. This comes more than a year after Lohan starred in the Netflix movie, Our Little Secret, which was part of her creative deal with the streamer.
Netflix expands its Lindsay Lohan library
As of December 5, Netflix subscribers can now stream five movies of Lindsay Lohan with the addition of 2004’s iconic teen comedy Mean Girls and 2024’s film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Mean Girls. Both movies were written by Saturday Night Live alum Tina Fey. The Mean Girls musical shows an important cameo of Lohan, two decades after the former Disney star played Cady Heron in the original 2004 movie.
Besides the Mean Girls movies and Our Little Secret, Lohan’s first movie with Netflix, Falling for Christmas, is still available for streaming, as well as 2024’s fantasy romantic comedy Irish Wish.
The Parent Trap star was most recently seen in the Disney sequel Freakier Friday, which reunited her with Academy Award winner Jamie Lee Curtis and Chad Michael Murray. At the moment, Lohan is attached to star in Hulu’s limited drama series Count My Lies with Game of Thrones alum Kit Harington and Big Little Lies star Shailene Woodley. Based on Sophie Stava’s recently published debut novel, the project hails from This Is Us executive producers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. This marks Lohan’s first major scripted TV show, after playing a recurring role in 2018’s British black comedy Sick Note.
