Super Troopers 3 Gets Release Date, First Photo for Broken Lizard Movie

Super Troopers 3 officially has a release date, and the first look at the group of troopers as they return for a third film in the Broken Lizard comedy franchise.

When is the Super Troopers 3 release date?

Searchlight Pictures announced that Super Troopers 3 will be releasing in theaters on August 7, 2026. The announcement came via a new picture banner, which shows the iconic group of troopers posing around a car, with newcomer Andrew Dismukes also a part of the group and in uniform.

Super Troopers 3, titled Super Troopers 3: Winter Soldiers, will be directed by Jay Chandrasekhar, a member of Broken Lizard who has also directed the first two films, as well as other Broken Lizard movies like Beerfest and Club Dread.

The movie will see several members of the Broken Lizard troupe reprise their roles in the movie, including Chandrasekhar Senior Trooper Arcot “Thorny” Ramathorn, Kevin Heffernan as Rodney “Rod” Farva, Steve Lemme as MacIntyre “Mac” Womack, Paul Soter as Carl Foster, Erik Stolhanske as Robbie “Rabbit” Roto, and Brian Cox as Captain John O’Hagen.

Other cast members of the movie include Marisa Coughlan, Nat Faxon, Chace Crawford, Andrew Dismukes, Hannah Simone, Iqbal Theba, Sakina Jaffrey, Jon Rudnitsky, and Lisa Gilroy.

The Super Troopers franchise began in 2001, with a second film coming out in 2018. The first film became a cult classic after grossing $23 million at the box office. The film franchise follows a group of highway patrol troopers and the antics they get into.
