Robert Downey Jr. has shared a new Avengers: Doomsday tease on Instagram, featuring Iron Man and Doctor Doom.
The image, posted on Thanksgiving, shows a comic-style illustration of the two characters breaking a wishbone, a traditional gesture for good luck. Only their shoulders and hands are visible. The post comes amid increasing speculation about Downey’s dual role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming film.
Robert Downey Jr. has already been confirmed to play Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday. This casting has sparked widespread theories about a possible return of Tony Stark. On Instagram, fan reactions included comments such as “Iron Man is definitely coming back in Secret Wars” and “RDJ AS IRON MAN AND DR. DOOM!!!”
This isn’t the first time Downey has teased his Doctor Doom role.
