Who is in the How to Make a Killing trailer?
Alongside Powell, How to Make a Killing also stars Margaret Qualley, Ed Harris, Jessica Henwick, Zach Woods, Topher Grace, Raff Law, and Bill Camp. Loosely based on 1949’s King Hearts and Coronets by Robert Hamer, Huntington is written and directed by John Patton Ford, who previously made 2022’s Emily the Criminal with Aubrey Plaza.
The film, which has been in development since 2024, recently went through a name change. Previously titled Huntington, How to Make a Killing’s new name was recently reported after trailers of the film began popping up. It’s unclear why the film’s old name was changed.
Powell has seen a meteoric rise to superstardom following his appearance in 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick. After that role, Powell starred in 2023’s Anyone But You and Hit Man, and then starred in 2024’s Twisters. This year, he led Edgar Wright’s adaptation of The Running Man, and he is also set to star in the upcoming J.J. Abrams film Ghostwriter, which is also set for a 2026 release date.
