Brad Pitt’s Unkillable Assassin Movie To Stream on Prime Video Soon

Amazon Prime Video has its full December lineup ready, and one of 2022’s biggest action hits is finally headed to the platform. Brad Pitt’s Bullet Train, directed by David Leitch, will become available for streaming next month, joining a stacked December slate that also includes new originals and major theatrical releases.

Bullet Train to stream on Prime Video in December

Bullet Train will release on Prime Video on December 3, 2025, giving subscribers a chance to revisit the high-octane assassin thriller that originally debuted in theaters three years back.

The film, released in 2022, follows Pitt as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to complete a simple mission aboard a high-speed Japanese train. Instead, he found himself surrounded by rival killers whose individual assignments were secretly connected. As their paths collided, the assassins were forced into a relentless, bloody scramble for survival during the train’s journey from Tokyo to Morioka.

Bullet Train, based on Kōtarō Isaka’s bestselling Japanese novel, brought together a large ensemble cast. Joey King features as Prince, Aaron Taylor-Johnson appears as Tangerine, and Brian Tyree Henry plays Lemon. The cast also includes Sandra Bullock, Zazie Beetz, Andrew Koji, Michael Shannon, Bad Bunny, Logan Lerman, Hiroyuki Sanada, and more.

Director Leitch brought years of action expertise to Bullet Train. Before stepping behind the camera, he worked as a stunt performer on major projects such as Fight Club, 300, Tron: Legacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. His co-directing work on John Wick made his name synonymous with sharp, stylized action. By the time Bullet Train was released, Leitch had already directed several major films, including Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, and the Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw. He also produced action titles such as Nobody.

While Bullet Train is one of the month’s biggest catalogue additions, Prime Video’s schedule includes a wide array of releases across genres. December kicks off with classics like 12 Angry Men, Love Actually, Mad Max, and Supernatural Seasons 1–15, releasing on December 1. New 2025 titles, including A Minecraft Movie, Sinners, The Naked Gun, and Fallout Season 2, land throughout the month.
