ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for Dawn of the Dogman, a new documentary tracking the potential existence and history of the mythical Michigan Dogman. Dawn of the Dogman releases on all digital platforms on December 9, 2025.

What happens in the Dawn of the Dogman trailer?

Dawn of the Dogman’s trailer highlights the history of the Michigan Dogman, a story that’s been told in the state for decades. Seth BreedLove and the Small Town Monsters crew then take their team there to chronicle its legend, and look back on the stories of the creature, which have been circulating since the late 1980s.

Dawn of the Dogman centers on the personal account of author and researcher Linda Godfrey, and is directed by BreedLove, who has previously made movies like The Mothman of Point Pleasant, On the Trail of Bigfoot, and more.

The documentary was made possible, as many of Small Town Monsters’ projects are, via a Kickstarter campaign. The team’s next Kickstarter campaign will launch in February 2026, and will offer up the chance to back a slew of new films, books, episodic series, and more.
