Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight Returns in New Batman V Superman Image
Zack Snyder has released two previously unseen Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice images on Instagram. The monochrome photos highlight Ben Affleck’s Batman as well as the Aston Martin driven by Bruce Wayne in the film. The pictures are the director’s recent series of behind-the-scenes posts.
New Batman V Superman images shared by Zack Snyder
Zack Snyder has released a fresh set of behind-the-scenes images from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The latest photo, shared on Instagram, features Batman in his armored suit in a black-and-white frame taken during a heavy rain. He captioned the post, “BVS Batman in the hard suit.” Fans quickly filled the comment section, both praising the visual style of the images and asking to “#RestoreTheSnyderVerse.”
In a separate post, Snyder highlighted the civilian vehicle used by Bruce Wayne in the film: a 1957 Aston Martin DB Mk III. The director shared a monochrome photograph of the car, which appeared in Batman v Superman during Bruce’s arrival at Lex Luthor’s event and later resurfaced in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. He captioned the image, “My 1957 Aston Martin, DB mk3 in its natural habitat. Leica monochrome.”
Snyder’s recent uploads follow several similar updates in which he has posted images of characters from his DC films, including Henry Cavill’s Superman and Ben Affleck’s Batman. The director also released a new black-and-white image of Affleck’s Batman last week, using the post to acknowledge his recent milestone of 300,000 followers.
In the post, he thanked viewers for their support, writing, “Thank you for 300,000 followers. It’s been a fun six weeks on here, and I’m just getting started. Shot this on my Leica Monochrom with a 50mm—more to come.” The post prompted speculation about whether Snyder was hinting at any future plans.
