Eli Roth’s New Horror Movie Ice Cream Man Unveils Cast & First Look Photo
The Horror Section has announced the main cast of Eli Roth‘s newest horror movie, titled Ice Cream Man. In addition, the film’s first official photo has also been revealed, featuring Orphan Black star Ari Millen as the menacing titular character.
“I couldn’t be more excited about the incredible cast we’ve assembled for Ice Cream Man,” Roth said in a statement. “It’s surreal to see the idea I’ve had for over twenty years come to life – and with this insanely talented cast, we get to deliver a film to horror fans that’s as terrifying as I’ve always imagined.”

Besides Millen, the Ice Cream Man cast also includes Benjamin Byron Davis (Guardians of the Galaxy 3), Dylan Hawco (Heartland), Sarah Abbott (Black Mirror), Kiori Mirza Waldman, and Charlie Zeltzer (The Handmaid’s Tale), along with Thanksgiving stars Shiloh O’Reilly, Karen Cliche, and Charlie Storey. Also rounding out the cast is Roth, who is also serving as a producer.
“The film follows an idyllic summer town descending into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying results,” reads the synopsis.
Roth also co-wrote the screenplay with Noah Belson. Executive producers are MCT’s Kevin Frakes, Connor DiGregorio, Eli Massillon, and Lorenzo Antonucci, and The Horror Section’s Jon Schnaars and Holly Adams. The movie is produced by Media Capital Technologies’ Christopher Woodrow and Raj Singh, alongside Kate Harrison for Cream Productions. It will also feature a score by Emmy Award-winning composer Brandon Roberts, with additional music by Snoop Dogg. The movie also includes horrifying prosthetic makeup effects by Steve Newburn and Adrien Morot.
