Maika Monroe, Emma Corrin, & Charli XCX Star in 100 Nights of Hero Trailer

IFC Films has released the official trailer for 100 Nights of Hero, the upcoming romance fantasy drama led by Maika Monroe (It Follows), Emma Corrin (The Crown), and Nicholas Galitzine (Masters of the Universe). The movie is slated to arrive in theaters on December 5.

“When her neglectful husband departs after placing a secret wager to test her fidelity, Cherry and her sharp-witted maid, Hero, must fend off a dangerously seductive visitor: Manfred,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the 100 Nights of Hero trailer?

The video introduces Monroe as Cherry, a neglected wife whose husband makes a bet with his friend to seduce Cherry in an effort to test her fidelity. With the help of her trusted maid, Hero, they found a way to fend off Manfred’s advances. However, Cherry soon finds herself in the middle of an unlikely love triangle between Hero and Manfred, making her situation a bit more complicated.

100 Nights of Hero is written and directed by Julia Jackman (Bonus Track). It is based on Isabel Greenberg’s 2016 graphic novel, which was inspired by the classic One Thousand and One Nights folktale collection. The ensemble cast also includes Charli XCX, Amir El-Masry, Richard E. Grant, Felicity Jones, and more. The movie is produced by Stephanie Aspin, Helen Simmons, and Grant S. Johnson.

Ahead of its theatrical release, the movie had its world premiere at the 2025 Venice International Film Festival. Since then, it has received a perfect Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 19 reviews.
