The Materialists‘ streaming release date has been set, with the A24 film starring Pedro Pascal, Dakota Johnson, and Chris Evans set to release soon.

When does Materialists come out on HBO Max?

Materialists will release on HBO Max on November 7, 2025, when it will be available streaming. Following that, the Celine Song film will be available on HBO’s linear cable network beginning the next day, on November 8, 2025.

The film is written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Celine Song, who is reuniting with A24 following the critical success of her feature directorial debut movie Past Lives. The 2023 movie starring Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, and John Magaro earned her two Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay. The upcoming movie is produced by Song, David Hinojosa for 2 AM, and Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler for Killer Films.
