The Long Walk Digital, 4K, & Blu-ray Release Date Set for Horror Movie

Lionsgate has officially revealed The Long Walk 4K, Blu-ray, and digital release date, revealing when fans can check out the film at home on premium digital services.

When is The Long Walk’s 4K, Blu-ray, and digital release date?

The Long Walk will release on Blu-ray, DVD, and Amazon-exclusive 4K SteelBook on November 25, 2025, with a wider 4K UHD release set for December 23, 2025. The film’s Blu-ray and DVD will retail for $39.99 and $29.96, respectively, while the 4K SteelBook + Blu-ray + Digital combo will be available for $34.99 at Amazon. The wide release of the 4K UHD in December will retail for $42.99.

The film will also release on premium digital services on October 21, 2025, just in time to check the film out ahead of Halloween. The movie will be available on a number of digital storefronts to buy or rent.

On top of the film’s release info, Lionsgate also revealed the bonus features set to arrive on The Long Walk’s home release, including:

The movie is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay written by JT Mollner. The filmmaker is no stranger to dystopic thrillers after working on The Hunger Games franchise, which also centers around the government enlisting young people into a survival competition.

The official synopsis for the movie reads, “From the highly anticipated adaptation of master storyteller Stephen King’s first-written novel, and Francis Lawrence, the visionary director of The Hunger Games franchise films (Catching Fire, Mockingjay – Pts. 1 & 2, and The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes), comes The Long Walk, an intense, chilling, and emotional thriller that challenges audiences to confront a haunting question: how far could you go?”

The Long Walk stars Cooper Hoffman, Mark Hamill, David Jonsson, Garrett Wareing, Tut Nyuot, Charlie Plummer, Ben Wang, Roman Griffin Davis, Jordan Gonzalez, Joshua Odjick, Josh Hamilton, and Judy Greer.
