Send Help Trailer: Sam Raimi Horror Movie Stars Rachel McAdams, Dylan O’Brien

20th Century Studios has released the first Send Help trailer, previewing the upcoming Sam Raimi survival horror movie, which is set to release on January 30, 2026.

“A woman and her boss struggle to stay alive on a remote island after a plane crash,” reads the brief synopsis for the movie. Send Help is written by Mark Swift and Damian Shannon, marking his latest since his trip to the MCU with 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

What happens in the Send Help trailer?

Send Help stars Rachel McAdams, Chris Pang, Dylan O’Brien, and Dennis Haysbert. The film is said to center on two colleagues who find themselves stranded on a deserted island after surviving a plane crash. “They must work together and use their wits to survive and make it out alive,” reads the film’s original logline.

The movie marks the return of Raimi to the horror genre since his 2009 film, Drag Me to Hell. Raimi directed the first three films in the Evil Dead franchise, which include 1987’s Evil Dead II and 1992’s Army of Darkness in addition to The Evil Dead. He directed the pilot episode of Ash vs Evil Dead and produced the Starz series.

According to early reports of the movie, Send Help is said to aim to be a mix of Rob Reiner’s Misery and Robert Zemeckis’s Castaway.
