
Acclaimed Josh O’Connor & Meghann Fahy Movie Rebuilding Gets Trailer
Bleecker Street has shared the official trailer for Rebuilding, the upcoming drama led by Golden Globe winner Josh O’Connor and Emmy nominee Meghann Fahy. Following its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, the movie is now slated to arrive in select theaters on November 14, 2025. It will then be followed by its nationwide release on November 21.
“The movie follows Dusty, a reserved, divorced father whose ranch has burned down in a devastating wildfire. Now living in a trailer community on a government-run campsite, Dusty finds solace with his new neighbors who have also lost everything, quietly reassembles his life, and starts reconnecting with his ex-wife Ruby and young daughter Callie-Rose,” reads the official synopsis. “Filmed against the rapturous backdrop of southern Colorado, Rebuilding is a ruminative, moving portrait of resilience and human connection in the wake of loss.”

What happens in the Rebuilding trailer?
The video introduces O’Connor as a cowboy who wants to start a new life after a wildfire destroys his family farm. The trailer highlights the community he’ll find within the people who have also lost their homes, while also teasing the bond he has with his daughter. It is a tenderly observed portrait of community and resilience.
The movie is written and directed by Max Walker-Silverman. The cast also includes Amy Madigan, Kali Reis, Lily LaTorre, Nancy Morlan, and Zeilyanna Martinez. It is produced by Jesse Hope, Dan Janvey, and Paul Mezey. Since its world premiere, the movie has received a Tomatometer rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 25 reviews.
