Trillion Boys Trailer Follows the Rise of 7-on-7 Football | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Trillion Boys trailer, previewing the upcoming documentary about the fast-growing 7-on-7 football league that’s taken over social media. Trillion Boys will be available on multiple platforms on October 14, 2025.

“The film follows Los Angeles natives DJ Jordan (now a wide receiver at USC) and Josh & Jack Stupin (OC residents and founders of the LA-based and nationally renowned Trillion Boys 7-on-7 team) as they pursue their dreams in the Overtime football league,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Through their journey, the doc explores the rise of 7-on-7 football, the culture of gridiron obsession in Los Angeles, and the new NIL landscape reshaping high school sports.”

What happens in the Trillion Boys trailer?

The Trillion Boys trailer follows the rise of 7-on-7 football, the no-pads and high-speed showcase for various skill players that has become the “Gen Z model” of sports. Specifically, the trailer follows the founders of the “Trillion Boys” 7-on-7 team, as well as LA native DJ Jordan, as they try to pursue their dreams in the Overtime football league.

The trailer also teases the highlights the rise and boom of 7-on-7 football, and how quickly its been popularized across social media, as well as the NIL landscape that allows players across collegiete and other sports make money. Trillion Boys is directed by A.J. Callens, and is produced by Jesse Murphy of Jesse James Films and Alex Levine of LevineFilms.
