Scream 7 Logo Revealed for Neve Campbell’s Return to Iconic Horror Movie Series
The official logo for Scream 7 has been released.
Wes Craven’s Scream was released in 1996. Starring Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, the now-infamous movie spawned a franchise that has, thus far, led to six sequels, while Scream 7 is now expected to arrive in 2026.
Kevin Williamson wrote the scripts for Scream, 1997’s Scream 2, and 2011’s Scream 4. Now, he’s getting even further involved with the series, as he’ll be directing Scream 7. This is his second time helming a feature film following 1999’s Teaching Mrs. Tingle.

What else do we know about Scream 7?
Along with Campbell, Scream 7 stars Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, Mason Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin, Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin, Isabel May as Sidney’s daughter, Joel McHale as Mark Evans, and David Arquette as Dewey Riley. The cast additionally includes Matthew Lillard, Scott Foley, Anna Camp, Mark Consuelos, Ethan Embry, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Michelle Randolph, and Jimmy Tatro.
Originally, the seventh Scream movie was going to be directed by Christopher Landon and was going to see Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega reprise their respective roles as Sam and Tara Carpenter. Spyglass, however, fired Barrera because of her comments on social media regarding the Israel-Hamas War, while Ortega and Landon both exited the project shortly after that. The script then went through a creative retooling.
In addition to his work on the Scream franchise and Teaching Mrs. Tingle, Williamson is known for writing 1997’s I Know What You Did Last Summer, 1998’s The Faculty, 2005’s Cursed, and 2022’s Sick. He recently served as a producer on 2024’s The Exorcism, which stars Russell Crowe and Sam Worthington.
Scream 7 will be released in United States theaters on February 27, 2026, from Paramount Pictures.
